Inside the “Real” Arrest of Kim Richards
For the uninitiated and not up to date
with the hottest news in the celeb world, the “Real Housewives of Beverly
Hills” star Kim Richards was arrested on Sunday. And she was kept in jail
overnight over charges of shoplifting. The Sharknado
3 star was released the next day after a bail of $5,000.
The star has had her share of troubles,
and, barely, four months ago she was arrested for misdemeanour. The probable
“real” facts and reasons for her spate of misadventures are discussed below.

1. The troubled 50-year-old lady filled
three carts full of merchandise worth hundreds of dollars while shopping at a Target
store located in San Fernando Valley.
And she tried to unload the load worth
$600 out of the store into her car before security personnel apprehended her
and placed her under citizen’s arrest before turning her into Van Nuys Police
Department. Kim was jailed overnight on charges of misdemeanour theft and was
released the next day on a bail of $5000. Her ex-husband Monty Brinson called
the whole incident some kind of a ‘misunderstanding’ and Kim was not under the
influence of drugs or alcohol when she was arrested. He said that the charges
came as a ‘shock’ to him since the behaviour was very unlikely to Kim. He even
claimed that she was caught shoplifting toys in her cart and the whole incident
sounded like some kind of mistake.
2. Her struggles with alcohol and drugs
continue. Four months ago Kim faced arrest too. She was arrested at Beverly
Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge in April this year after she was reported by security
for a reported fight. Kim was described as being in a state of aggressive
hostility as she was found reeking of alcohol and her speech was slurred too.
She faced three charges following her arrest for resisting arrest, public
intoxication and battery on a peace police officer. She was sent to rehab post
this arrest but her representatives informed that post her stint at the rehab
she was sober and upbeat although a little “uncertain” about her future plans.
3. Sources confirm that her family and
friends were not too happy with her being let go from rehab after 38 days of
being sober as they felt it was too soon. In the midst of all her family and
friends expressed concern about her struggle with alcohol and drugs. Kim was
also heard painting a picture of a woman
fighting to maintain her sobriety she too has often voiced about struggling to
keep things together and some days are not as good as others.
4. Among other troubles following her, Kim
has also been fighting rumours of her living out of her car. Though those
rumours have been put to rest she is still living in and out of houses till she
finds a permanent address.
